Yea, I usually inbetween Albanian Greek and Tuscan. I think its my atypical Neolithic result. Including my fathers.

I see. Are your results typical for people from Dibra. Is there even anything genetically peculiar amongst you guys? I usually cluster closer to Bulgarians than Greeks, unlike many other Albanians who seem to plot the other way around.

I think people from Dibra are more EEF admixed as they seem to score more of it and I have slightly more than average which I believe is from my maternal side which is from Dibra although I do have slightly more WHG probably from my fathers side who are Malsor. I tend to plot north of Tuscans but west of Albanians

I am not sure. My father is from Okshtuni Vogel which is an isolated distruct of Okshtuni. He claims our family came from Mirdita and settled there for the last 3-400 years. I know Kelmendasi also shifts with his neolithic as well, and I believe his mother is from or near my fathers village. So, maybe its something about Diber genetics. Though, outside me and my father, I do not know any other dibran testers. Our IT component in K36 is extremely high for us,. Higher than that of Italians too. This shifts us towards Sardinia, Tuscany etc. My fathers IT component is almost 36, and mine almost 32. The mean for Albania is like 22-24 I believe, and for Italy like 24-28. As a result(and Italians possessing the highest mean average) it shifts us towards Tuscans.

My moms mother is from Gjakov. They also have family in Prizren from her mothers side. Interesting.
