I have a great grandfather that immigrated here from northern France around 1914. And some the French like ancestry comes from the Belgian line as well. Based on what I have seen with my DNA tests, I still score majority British Isles related ancestry. When I go back through the family trees, there is earlier British Isles ancestry in there. When I look at an ancestor for instance that had a German last name his ancestors married into a family that was Irish with other British Isles.Quote:
