It would be interesting to take a poll, of all the Indo-European/European speakers who share a place in the Europe pca map, about their ideas of their linguistic/culture/diet- handed down to them by their forefathers, in Europe.
Maybe one of the mods can set up exclusive pca/european/linguistic/culture-lineage poll. Out of sight of the racist anti European trolls on this forum, on a private thread.

That south asian. xD Does he get it on all calcs? I get anywhere between 2-3.40. My admix is small but I know it's not noise.
Btw what is east euro on here and why would I get twice as much as Stears?

It is Finnic type ancestry that peaks in Udmurts and north Russians. Aren't you part Transylvanian Saxon ? They mixed with Hungarians (Romanians too), and that could possibly explain it ? Or it is ancient east euro ancestry that I noticed lot of British Islanders (Ireland especially)
carry.

It's very ancient in his case then. Yes, my maternal great-grandfather came from there(verified by 1940 census records) and identified as ethnic German.
I just checked a kit I have from an English man with Irish ancestors and he gets 14.03 East Euro for this test,even more than me.

For some reason north Europeans can get noise south asian, probably some steppe type ancestry. I remember Grace got it on some calculators if I remember well, and she is very steppe shifted Irish.
It's common among Finno-Ugric populations too, even Tatars.

That's because all northern Europeans from Ireland to Russia share lot of bronze age ancestry, in Europe north/south division is quite bigger than west/east, in my opinion.
