What state was this? Apparently this is fairly common in the American South. I seem to have matches with African Americans in Virginia and North Carolina. I actually have ancestors through a great-grandfather that have been in this country for a long time and lived in the Southeastern United States before migrating west and northwards.Quote:

Agreed. My mom has German as well. In fact my most recent ancestors originated from Sachsen so my French and German should be higher than English yet these tests always conclude me being of English ancestry.Quote:
