Slavic Macedonians actually are not different than Greek Macedonians and in fact, they were the same people 150 years ago. It is more like languages are replaced due to cultural domination rather than a distinctive gene flow maybe except for Chalkidiki Greeks who show more Southern characteristics compared to the rest of Macedonian Greeks. In this sense, genetically, your father is not exactly Macedonian neither Greek nor Slavic, but more like Bulgarian/Romanian that makes sense when considering where his hometown borders.
