Well this is where it gets interesting, My East Euro barely shows on 23andMe, in fact it comes up on speculative as just 0.5% and disappears on the 2 other modes, my only conclusion is that the 10% percent on standard mode is the Polish hiding under 'nonspecific European' because 23andMe don't reference a Polish population on their ancestry composition map. only state that they have samples from the Poland under their East European label. Bare in mind the Polish ancestry is a Great Grandfather, so in theory I would inherit roughly 12.5%?? of his genome, I think.
As for it being all Polish, I've no idea. That's why I decided to take DNA tests. To try and determine the Polish ancestry, and that ancestors genetic make up. Perhaps I'm just unfortunate and that where my Polish ancestry pulls me closer to Germanic populations, it throws the ancestry under North Sea?
