20-40% of Italians won't be taken as White/Euro in many parts of Europe and the US

In my home city in Canada quite a few people actually do not view Italians as being White really.

Not to be rude, but you know this is true... some Americans are really dumb. The whole thing about white and not white stems from the whole Anglo/English thing which widened to include Germans/Irish/Scandos, etc... and they think Spain & Spaniards = South America and Mexico.

This is a silly troll thread. Italians look distinctly Southern European in the main; not Northern European, not MENA, but Southern European. End of story.

You know it and I know it, but many common Northern Euros and Americans don't :shrug:

In mid-western US, 40% of Southern Euros could be taken as Latino cuz mid-western White Americans are of predominantly German and Scandinavian extract and they aren't aware of European phenotype diversity.

If Italians are White than we have to include large sums near eastern peoples under the white racial umbrella.
