Can you just go with discussion about American colonists to separate thread for that? This one is created to discuss updates to Vahaduo, not for boring historical debates.
It is technical thread only. To make easier for people to find relevant references, just it.
I don't need it to be so long like old one:) I had already one of the longest threads on TA, it is enough really...
Otherwise I will ask Admin to delete irrelevant posts in the future.
I wish we get something like Russian_Nizhny_Novgorod one day.
Here is one Nizhny Novgorod guy's result.

Haha yes but I'm sort of wary of that user. Might be a troll.
That sample belongs to the guy "Pipa", he briefly appeared on TA last year. Too bad he deleted the kit, at least I had saved his Dodecad. But he is not entirely from N. Novgorod.
Russian samples from one region only are generally hard to find, this is what I've told Piotr multiple times. Maybe we're just mongrels "thanks" to the USSR, who the fuck knows
You have also areas which no one think they could be so sparsely populated and yet they are located just west from Moscow, not in Komiland. I am really surprised just few people per km2 live there. Such areas should weighted according to population in oracle.

You can actually still see the borders of Kievan Rus on a modern population density map, even though it's been 1000 years.

As far as I know most people in Siberia originate from here.

Quality of soil dictated population exodus historically speaking.
Well, for Russia only several major regions would make sense, everything else is meaningless to me. And even that is complicated (see Siberia for example - a huge and mixed region). And frankly, I personally don't like splitting hairs in republics of 2-3 million people which can be traveled from end to end in 24 hours.
