Over time, the populations mixed so much that they eventually became more similar to the indigenous populations than to those that emerged from the Viking core. Therefore, I'm not saying the samples used by the OP weren't Viking, only that they aren't representative of what we might call an ideal "Viking reference."

The same applies to Romans, Goths, Scythians, etc...:noidea:

Sorry again for derailing the thread, but using the initial references it's like using Visigoths from Granada as a Goth references, who looks more like a modern Canary Islander than a Germanic.:p

The original Vikings were supposed to be Germanic people from the Scandinavian peninsula.
