That exact skin tone prediction is very common among 23andme customers of European ancestry. Just because it is accurate in your case doesn’t discount the large number of customers with darker skin than you who are also predicted as 39% very fair.

And that’s fine but his tool predicted over 90% chance of olive skin. That’s a large discrepancy.

I checked HIrisPlex for my case and case of few other people and it was 100% of time correct.

Under his tool samples with heavy NW euro ancestry like British, Scandinavians, and Finns tend to strongly score white on average. Balto-Slavs are more variable. In that population sense it is not surprising that Vessna as a Belorussian might strongly score olive. There are NW Europeans who have darker skin than Vessna but nevertheless score white with AndreiDNA’s tool. Since skin pigmentation is possibly the most polygenic it might reflect genetic cluster more and individual appearance less than other predictions.
