Yes main y-DNA is E1b ( E-V13 ) , I'm surprised by too many R1b Macedonians ( Mainly from Central and North part ) and I2a Celtic branches, and surprised by R-Z92 from Prespa, I guess R-Z92 would be Slavic ? There are 32 y-DNA ,it's good number, but I think we need more from Kumanovo,Kriva Palanka and Strumica ( Southeast ) , Mainly all regions are covered, mostly North and South.Quote:

We still don't know ydna of ancient Maceodnians, but eventually they will test them somewhere in the future.
We don't know still, because E-V13 is most dominant in "Illyrian" country like Kosovo and Albania it's not necessary Thracian, also we don't have Peonian sample so we don't know , in any case Peonians were part of ancient Macedonian ethnos , I guess ancient Macedonians would be R1b , E-V13 and I2a Celtic branches like one of Thracian Bessi I-Y13338.Quote:

Kosovo was mixed Thracian Illyrian zone and Albos are mix of west and east Balkan ancestry. Proto-Albanians probably developed somewhere in central Balkans.

J2a in north Macedonia should be Hellenic origin, J2b native Illyrian.
Of curse we need more ancient samples to be sure.

You are wrong , there is E-L618 from Dalmatia, why Albanian most dominant haplo is E-V13 ( not talking about Kosovo ) ? I think they are not Thracians nor they claim that, E-V13 is Barbaric ancient Balkan haplogroup , ancient Illyrian,Macedonian and Thracian ( subgroups Dacian - Getae ),Quote:

Albanians are mix of various Paleo Balkan people, with some Greco-Roman and Slavic influence. I am curious to see ancient samples from Albania proper, Iron Age and antiquity.
I think J2a can be one of ancient Macedonian markers. They possibly had Illyrian influence as well.
