It seems that the more Western Iberian ancestry one has, the more LBK shows.
Also Natufian emerge randomly, at least I have never seen natufian in my parents or in my results.
However, English or Norwegian show quite a high ammount of Iberia_EEF, and I don´t see what is the logic of it.
Iberian EEF has more WHG in it than LBK does, that's why I left the WHG reference there to account for those who need more of it due to high LBK.Quote:

I don't think unscaled coordinates will help, such ancient samples tend to have less reliance on higher dimensions which is what unscaled does by overwhelmingly preferring the first two or three - what's why I usually make these ancient models with scaled data. That said the MAR_EN figures are occasionally silly.

The Iberian EEF must originally be the one that contributed to the current Iberians, LBK sometimes causes weird artifacts in calculators and "replaces" it sometimes, at least that's what I think.Quote:

Western EEF dominates in pre-Roman samples, although some individuals also benefit slightly from LBK. The second group is the complete opposite, only a few of them strongly prefer the native EEF references, that includes the Visigothic samples and those with high East Med+North African. Naturally the Reconquista changed the scenario. Since north/central Spanish (Leonese and Castillians) derive more of their ancestry from pre-Roman Iberia, they will prefer Western EEF more strongly than Galician-Portuguese or Catalan speakers do. I think.
This should imply that the Portuguese derive less of their ancestry from indigenous peoples of Iberia (with some exceptions, such as yours truly), not that this is surprising, but there it is.

What I did notice is that samples strongly influenced by the Mediterranean or Italics tend to prefer LBK over EEF Iberia, the case of the Canary Islands is clear (proportionally to their total European ancestry) and the Balearic Islands (the Baleares, Mallorca and Menorca are among the Iberian regions with higher LBK).
