Sicily would be out of place twice. Not only because obviously has nothing to do with Middle East but especially because it isn't a country. ;)
And returning on what Sikeliot said about Sicily being an extension of Tunisia in middle ages, is completely wrong, perhaps it's the other way round. :)
The Kingdom of Africa which at the time included Tunisia was a dependency of the Kingdom of Sicily.
Cyprus and Syria.
I support Syrian government in their defence against radical Islamists and American Imperialism, i also had a friend whose father was Syrian. In 2014 his father went back to Syria to help people(he was doctor) and to fight while him and his 2 sisters and mother migrated to Germany. Haven't heard anything from him since then but i hope his father is ok.
Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Turkey.
KSA, UAE, and Qatar. I would love to work there after I graduate from college. I've also always been interested in those cultures, and I would be more than willing to learn to speak MSA (modern standard Arabic) after I'm finished with the German language.
