Not sure about that, but I think you plot where Slovaks would plot have they been present on this map. Basically northeastern from Hungary mean. Have you any Slovak ancestry somewhere back ?

Yes, I have one 6th generation grandmother, from 180 year ago who seemed to be pure Slovak, but the rest of my 5th-7th generation grandparents were mostly Hungarian and a few of them Germans. So it's still weird how do I get that Slavic region so highly.

You score very high Atlantic which is western component. I would say your 3% Asian shifted you east on this PCA. I get none in comparison.

PCAs can have a projection bias. I'd trust the GEDmatch oracle over the PCA.

I guess Hungarians from Northern Hungary and the Northern Great Plain, that is to the east of Budapest, would be more Eastern European than Transdanubians, wouldn't they?
