I have this Caucasus/West Asian populations in every run on every Gedmatch calculator, do you have any idea where it comes from? It is from my Bulgarian ancestor very likely. I have almost 10% West Asian on K13, average Polish/Ukrainian is 6-8%, can I have 2-3% West Asian from my Bulgarian ancestor, then he had 20%? I have distant Jew roots, but I doubt it can be reason of this, additionally it is 1/16 or even more distant
That might be both your Souhern ancestry (Bulgarian and Jewish) and simply recombination or a score that is above the average. Some people would score 2% West Asian or whatever and some being from the same country and nation would score 8%, that's normal.Quote:
