Good thing we've left Africa since 1872. They can fuck right off!
Calling the powers to back off from Africa is just unrealistic. If you do not want more immigrants, there is something must be ractified on Africa, not just leaving everything messed up. Look at the "civilized" races at war with each other, morally we are not better than africans. I think dividing Africa into so many countries is wrong from the beginning, it was due to imperialistic competition Africa has become a pawn for resources and manpower. It gets even worse today, more countries are joining this competing colonization like Russia and China. If one power left Africa, somebody else will seize it. Therefore nobody can leave Africa before there is a true global peace. However we are at war now, no wonder Africa will burn after our war. We bring the conflicts and wars and diseases to Africa, it is rather about what we should do about ourself first rather than should do about Africa.
Scramble for Africa
The Scramble for Africa (or the Race for Africa) was the proliferation of conflicting European claims to African territory during the New Imperialism period, between the 1880s and the start of World War I.
The latter half of the nineteenth century saw the transition from the "informal" imperialism of control through military influence and economic dominance to that of direct rule. Attempts to mediate imperial competition, such as the Berlin Conference of 1884-85 among the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the French Third Republic and the German Empire, failed to establish definitively the competing powers' claims. These disputes over Africa were among the central factors precipitating the First World War.

Who did they steal from? Siberia was not inhabited by almost anyone. The same Yakuts came to Siberia only 200 years earlier than the Russians and exterminated the local Yukaghirs. The Russians stopped this genocide by enabling all the indigenous peoples of Siberia to live in peace.
Haven’t been to Siberia – don’t know Siberians - so I can only quote a book:
A History of the Peoples of Siberia: Russia's North Asian Colony 1581–1990 by James Forsyth
Quote:
The methods used by the Russian state in pursuit of wealth from furs resemble those of Spanish conquerors in Peru and Mexico: the natives were coerced into submission and then directly exploited as producers of wealth. Whenever the Muscovites extended their territory in Northern Eurasia they used armed force to exact regular tribute – yasak – from the natives, and this was the principal means of obtaining sable and other furs for the treasury. Once a year a fixed number of sables or their equivalent (varying according to the locality between one pelt and twelve) for each male member of the tribe from the age of fifteen, had to be handed over to Russian officials.
The submission of native peoples to this system was enforced by oaths administered to clan chiefs and by taking hostages – for whom the Russians used the Tatar term amanat.
The hostages, usually chiefs or members of their families were held in the local Russian fort until their kinsmen brought in the required number of pelts.
Russian fur trade and the Orthodox Church in Alaska explained in some of these talks by Oleksa:Quote:
…. Smallpox was unknown in Siberia before the advent of Russians. The first outbreak in 1630-1 carried away many of the Khanty, Mansi, Samoyed, Selkup and Ket peoples ….

(Can't remember which video described it all in detail).
The Russians are the ones who still have a colonial empire. Around 90 percent of their country was taken from others.
