I parenti su 23andme possono dare indicazioni?

parenti con 4 nonni nati in uno stesso paese:

39 Usa (dice poco.. Molti sono in parte italiani)
14 Italia
2 Turchia (sembrano una con geni vicino al Mar Nero, l altro con geni Ceceni, quindi sempre Mar Nero/Caucaso)
2 Canada (stesso discorso degli Stati Uniti)
2 Portorico (non hanno italiano ma porto Rico ha avuto un'immigrazione forte di gente dalla Corsica che ha qualcosa a che vedere con la Toscana visto che sono di fronte a noi)
1 Regno Unito
1 Spagna (il cognome o nickname sembra però italiano)
1 Svezia

In N.Italy there's increased West Med in Eurogenes K13, I've seen many Lombards or Piedmontese below 20% East Med. (Not joking)

Think about Bergamo, they have 0 East Med ancestry (not the East Med from Gedmatch). Litterally 0. Same for most of Veneto etc. According to G25 models.

East Med ancestry truly begins at Firenze level.

Standard? I doubt that. To me it's one of the Northernmost ones out there. In fact you being half Central French are probably still around 20% EM.

suppongo di si ma la pittura autosomica e' un modo superiore di raccogliere informazione genetica. Forse se 15% dei tuoi parenti fossero russi o qualcosa di simile potremmo cominciare a considerare che potesse essere che avessi dell'ascendenza slava, ma non c'e niente di molto sorprendente fra i tuoi parenti, come hai gia menzionato la diaspora italiana e' ben diffusa ed enorme.

più che altro mi sono saltati all occhio questi parenti del anatolia/Caucaso sul Mar Nero

1 turca con metà ascendenza di una città sul Mar Nero
1 che si descrive Ceceno Curdizzato
1 Azera/Cecena

ho anche dei parenti del Libano (non lo hanno messo) ma lo vedo dalla loro ancestry paint


parlando invece di Europa ho corrispondenze col mondo del Regno Unito (una con 4 nonni) l altra delle isole britanniche (3 nonni UK, 1 nonno irlandese)
Sorprendentemente non ho corrispondenze con i paesi vicini tipo Francia, Svizzera, Austria, Slovenia o balcani

Not at all, he has a common result, and I've seen many northern italians that are more northern than that... In fact he's very typical for a venetian. Even for a piedmontese.

Regarding me, well I've haven't taken a test, so I can't say, 20% EM is a pretty huge amount even for an half-half, so.

And don't forget that the result over there has 13% West-Asian which is a lot. Not at all "Northern shifted"

I also score some East Asian on GEDmatch, but that's due to the low coverage of the modern chip they use.
