They don't overlap actually.

Proto Celts were closer to SW Europeans than to Germanics genetically. You can use Austria IA average.
but maybe for Iberians France IA is better...(not north shifted ones tho)

I alr tried mamy times, at individuals level some iberians were scoring 50% Hallsttat amd other 40% Suebi

Also Hallsttat, La Tene and Urnfield were also closer to germanics than to sw euros . . .

Trust me , i alr tried a lot of times use both Hallsttat and Germanics in the same calculator, and never works or makes sense

You need to get rid of the Suebi outliers. Aka the one's plotting as Hallstatt like individuals since they are mixed. Don't look at individual results, only the averages as they are the only thing that matters... More accurate as well.

Belgians and Swiss Germans are far for being representative for Suebi admixture in Spaniards. They aren't ''pure'' Migration Period Germanics.

I mean testing in Individuals iberians, i always use averages on source but individuals in target

So the fit gets better as i add populations. Of course "Gauls" doesn't make sense to me as a southern portuguese, so i suspect something similar might be missing, maybe west iberia IA celtic speaking samples.

The distance getting smaller is not exactly the point of the model, but you can do whatever you want.

Yeah, i never stoped to think that Gauls can be using as a proxy for Western Hispano Celts like Gallaecians, since they are more EEF admixed than Hallsttat, good observation

I don't think so, the Germanic admixed individuals are going to get more hallsttat, but since y'all want germanics sooo much, here it is! (BTW all the samples I used are pure Germanic)
