Yes true. This obvs results from Armenians who assimilated into that society after the genocide. It is not uncommon amongst Sunni Kurds too.

They exist. But not as common as Gecko claimed. I think it's mainly restricted to Alevis in places like Kahranmaras:

Also interestingly R1a Z93 is common among eastern anatolian Turkmen tribes like bozulus qizilbash Şereflü etc. Also your y dna is R1a Z93 too:D
There are R1a Z93 in my hometown :d(ankara, Şereflikoçhisar)

Yeah haven't thought of that.
Although I think that the reason Georgians, and to a degree Armenians, display such "clean" results is due in part to their Christian faith and identity. This distinction, together with geography, has probably shielded them from mingling with their neighbors.
So, while Azerbaijanis have mixed with all their neighbors, including Avars, Lezgins and Iranians, which can also be seen in their results, the same can't be said (for now) about Georgians. Even Azerbaijanis in Georgia do not seem to have mixed with the locals, unlike Azeris in Dagestan.
One possibility I see is that the mixing with non-Georgians could still have happened before Christianity/Islam distinction arose. Would be interesting to see an eastern Georgian sample.
Correct. This is more or less non existent amongst the bulk of the Alevi Kurds though.
I've seen a few Maras results like this but found no way to verify whether or not they were fully Kurdish. I've posted them before in this thread. However, from the ones I have spoken to, they all have a distant non Kurdish ancestor down the line which would explain the high east eurasian (even a single Circassian great grandparent would suffice).
Hence why I asked for a fully Kurdish result.
This tool is not designed to measure total East Asian in any population. For one thing the Caucasus component is based on all the following populations some of which have a decent amount of East Asian. In other words it's hidden in these populations:
Population Caucasus Georgians 74% Abhkasians 70% Armenians 60% North_Ossetians 57% Balkars 57% Adygei 57% Armenian 56% Assyrian 52% Chechens 51% Druze 50% Turkish 46% Kumyks 46% Turks 46% Lezgins 46% Uzbekistan_Jews 45% Kurd 40% Iranian 40%
Also the Gedrosian component is based on populations below some of which also have substantial East Asian. In other words Gedrosian has hidden East Asian also.

Population Gedrosia Brahui 70% Balochi 64% Makrani 61% Sindhi 51% Jatt 46% Pathan 44% Meena 43% Burusho 43% Indian 39% Velamas 38% Kshatriya 38% Meghawal 36% Dharkars 35% Kanjars 35% Kurmi 34% Tajiks 34%
Having said this even on this calculator 3-5% is not a limiting factor for Kurds since many Kurds such as these from KurdishDNA blog and even yourself probably are in this range. Not to mention most of the Kurdish samples I have
