Not me probably, as I am aware of only two studies from villages in Moldova, Sofia in Drochia district and Carahasani in Stefan Voda. It's true that there are some non-Moldovan surnames in Sofia, but most seem to be Moldovan. We discussed about a Polish village, but I think that was in Transnistria.
And this is different, because it's about Y-DNA.
I am not a fan of gathering samples from the capital, not just in Ukraine. You guys probably haven't seen those from Budapest that were posted the other week, where some scored like average Romanians, others like Ukrainians and some also like Hungarians. That's just the nature of the biggest city in any country to be attractive to all kind of ethnicities. A better strat if they want to gather samples from Kiev is to go to the villages on the outskirts, since those are likelier to be inhabited by people with only Ukrainian ancestors.
