The US 8th??? lol
Greeks have no kitchen, they flaunt what they learned from the Turks.
Any cuisine which has a lot of meat, fish, veggies, oils and less grains, minimum bakery, not excessive potatoes. I always hated bakery which makes me sick, it's very popular in Russia. In Balkan cuisines I can't stand burek (it has Turkish roots), I have to be literally hungry to eat it voluntary.
I agree with the 1.place, Italy!!
Just lol at this list.
No Georgia in the first 3.
No Uzbekistan at all (gastro-Mecca).
US at 8 th place.
Polish one is something in-between Russian and German, but no Russian (very rich one in fact) in the list.
Lots of noname and mediocre ones.
Circlejerk.
Who are you trying to fool. The ottomans were nomadic hunter gatherers that came from Mongolia. What did they bring with them about cuisine that was not already known. They were isolated from the sea so delicacies such as fish, kalamari and oysters were not Turkish. They did not grow any staple foods so baking and dishes including rice and wheat products were not theirs. They did not breed bees so they had no honey so sweet foods were not theirs either. Foods including wine and vinegar need the use of grapes which were unknown to the Turks so that practially rules out everything. If that were not enough all of the Chefs to the ottoman Sultans were Christian Slaves. There's no such thing as Turkish cuisine. Literally everything in Turkish cuisine is plagiarized from the Greeks and other indigenous peoples who were there long before the Turks were eating raw meat in central asia.
It is my favorite meal for breakfast.
After eating a quarter, I am full next 5-6 hours.
