I recommend running the model at 0.25x with all references once. Then to have a second run at 0.25x with only those references that are relevant for your ancestry. In your case those would be Romania Moldavia South, Romania Transylvania, Csango and Jewish.Quote:

I'm starting to believe that Transnistrian Russians, at least those who haven't come to the region recently, are only cultural Russian, but genetically anything from Moldovan/Romanian to a mix of nations.

Now I talked to another person, who was also raised Russophone and Russian, in this case Tiraspol, but genetically could pass as a Moldovan from the North.
Luckily, in this case I also have the surname, which is of Moldovan/Romanian origin. So who knows how mixed they are, but at least paternally they should be Moldovan/Romanian.

Just adding some details for those who are not aware. This average was made by taking all my county averages that you see posted in my threads. Then those county averages were weighted against the population distribution in Romania.
