On 18 aug 2020 Eurogenes announced that he will phase out the modern Global25 samples, because he doesn't trust the labels of the self-reported ethnicity classifications. Neither do I, but I think an even greater problem is that the ethnic classification of the Global25 samples is too fine-grained, especially for modern European samples. --Huijbregts

I'm just completely Northwestern which is not really a surprise knowing my ancestry but I always find it odd that I don't get English in any of these calculators. I only get English if there is no Irish, Scots, or Scandinavian samples.

G25 works like a charm for me too, as you know. My favorite platform, I prefer it to GEDmatch, for me anyway.
