On 23andMe the majority of Poles score trace amounts like 0.1% or 0.5%. Rothaer and me calculated this.

So out of 28 such relatives 17 have this admixture (ranging from 0.1% to 5.3%) and 11 don't have it. And the mean is 0.8% AJ.
BTW drb234 why do you think it is Ruthenian?
Based on surnames it is a very close call (5.5% vs. 5.0% according to Olszak-Przytycki, if his data is reliable).
However some ancestry from these groups could be absorbed by Poles even before surnames became common.
Fistora why do you think it is Ruthenian?
BTW you have both admixtures, right?
Of course, this is a more complex topic, but I took into account the average of Poles who mostly live in central/southeastern Poland - where the population density is the highest. i Think it's similar case with central-eastern slovaks
I'm mostly Polish/Rusyn/Ukrainian and a little Mordovian and German

those "Poles" above?
Aren’t Poles like 20% Germanic on average? IIRC, they have high I1 frequency for Slavs, and lots of them have surnames like Braun and Mücke (Korwin-Mikke).
Yes but check also my thread about Ruthenian admixture among Poles:

It seems like I'm in the minority, but I bet on German admixture.
I would even go as far as claim that many Catholic Ruthenians are the ones that have Polish admixture, not the other way around, which is why they have elevated Germanic-like admix compared to more Eastern Ukrainians.
