MyHeritage used to be infamous for having the worst ancestry composition of any DNA company. As of the latest update, that seems to no longer be the case:

"Tiens, voilà du boudin"
This has been the best update for the French, they finally exist for MH.
My results are being generated but I don't have it yet.
Off topic:
How can you take this seriously, when they lump the Scots and Welsh together?

This is the worst update ever, especially for the French. My father used to get a relatively high percentage of 'Northern French, but now he only gets 30% "French".
The rest of his French results are scattered across different categories because they’ve included French samples in "ethnic groups" where they don't belong. It makes no sense. An "English" group should only contain English samples, not French, Dutch, or others. It’s nonsensical.
For the French, 23andme is the best.
My results are right now being generated

It's just the usual nonsense for me, with my Irish being overestimated at the expense of my Scottish. Literally all DNA companies seem to do it.
And as Graham said, lumping Scottish and Welsh together is an odd choice.
Yes, this is the reupdated 2024 version I think, for me it's much more realistic and better detailed (also with groups) than 23andme's v7.0 and slightly better than Ancestry. It's NOT perfect but its the best result I have currently from a commercial DNA company presently after the recent updates. Although I think IllustrativeDNA has gotten quite good too with their analysis and accuracy. All the groups are insanely accurate, although they do overestimate English although to a lesser extent than 23 and Ancestry. Overall makes sense though and I prefer their groupings to some of 23 and Ancestry's new subregions.

I think the MyHeritage update was the only recent update that was not a letdown for me.
Also my results have only shifted a few percent since 2024.
Another fake update?
