Then you can check the distribution of your haplogroup in ancient populations there.

Try checking a subclade which is one or two levels upstream of your actual terminal SNP.

It should give you more results.

How old is your subclade BTW?

My paternal has been formed 450 BCE, so it is quite young. Yet I expected it to be represented more since it was associated with Slavic migration. Then the Balkan and Pannonian Basin should be actually full of it.

I don't think these maps mean much for me. My haplogroup first appears in Egypt about 500 BC, and downstream groups start appearing in Europe around 500 AD.
