Post your Gedmatch Eurogenes K12 results.

I find this specific calculator to be the most useful and fine-tuned in terms of the Eurogenes calculators. It can be cross-referenced and inferred with all the other Eurogenes calculators.

What I find most interesting about this calculator is the differentiation between the North Sea component and Western European component. IMO the North Sea and Western European components can be seen as the Germanic and Celtic population peaks in Europe respectively.

It's almost as if my admixture only cut into the Mediterranean and Caucasus components, and left everything else similar to full Euros.

I get a bit more than 6% on Mcdonald; 5% on Dodecad; a bit less than 5% on 23andme.

Dodecad V3 shows a little different, about the same for W&SW Asia (16,50%+6,25%) but higher Med (27,54%) and rest East Euro (18,47%) and West Euro (31,19%).

I'd actually say that your East Asian component is real. It doesn't show up for me in Eurogenes but I have 0.10% of the East Asian component in Dodecad and Dr. McDonald basically confirmed it but it was extremely tiny.

My North Asian, East Asian and Amerindian seem to vary a lot from project to project. Maybe it's something ancient and hard to pin point?

Same with me. I do have real but distant Native American ancestry. It's either Siberian, Beringian, East Asian, etc. at times. I think the new MDLP World calculator finally picked it up correctly! :thumb001:

I always score 1% North Asian/Siberian, but the other Eurasian scores seem to vary greatly, according to 23andMe I have more global similarity with Native Americans than some people with documented Native American ancestey:confused:
Again I wonder if it is some ancient Eurasian connection(Y-DNA Q1a3 is found at 4% in south Norway;))?

Maybe the Huns? I also just read that some Saami/Lapps seem to be in a very rare Haplogroup I*-M170 which of course is neither I1 or I2. But most Saami seem to be in N1c and I1 with quite a few in R1a also.

Yeah i noticed that. But basically it seems that i get it from my Dad's side as it always shows up in his and my calculators, but rarely in my mothers. My Dad takes very strongly after his mother's side of the family in all aspects in real life, and i'm thinking that might be the reasoning behind why i get more than him (we think any foreign ancestry is on his father's side). I will get his parent's results back in a couple of weeks so i can test this theory. It is like this in all calculators.
