No, it makes someone more unaffected. But if thats equivalent to strong then I agree (i think no).

Stronger, wiser, more determined, permanently unable to get impressed by a lot of shit.
What I have gone through over this forum for the past 6 years, yeah, it did help me to change and correcting my flaws.

Has anyone noticed how aspects of Nietzsche's thought are actually Christian? He believed that suffering was good and that it made you better. It was a fire that tempered the sword of creative and intellectual achievement. Toward the end of his life, he signed a few of his letters and writings as der Gekreuzigte "The Crucified One".
I'm not a big fan of suffering for its own sake, or the notion of suffering as a virtue. I'm generally opposed to asceticism. I think such an impulse ironically is against Nietzsche's idea of Life-Affirmation.
I agree, and was just discussing this last week. Mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically stronger.
