South Korea is Vietnam’s largest investor. Due to the huge amount of business being conducted between the 2 countries, there are over 100,000 Koreans living and working in Vietnam. Some of them have gone back to Korea and opened up Vietnamese restaurants. Pho is super popular amongst Koreans, and there are many restaurants offering Vietnamese cuisine in Seoul.

Food can be very subjective. Korean food can be an acquired taste if you’re not used to it, but I personally love it. It could be I just like Asian food in general.
In any case, here is a video where a Vietnamese guy stops by a bánh mě place in Seoul. Bánh mě are Vietnamese sandwiches, and it is a result of fusion of Vietnamese cuisine with French influence.

Americans seems to love Vietnamese food I've witnessed, they seem to love it much more than say Filipino food for example. I even tried Malaysian/Indonesian food once and was surprised how delicious it was, but still Americans seem to love Japanese/Chinese/Thai/Viet cuisine much more acceptingly.
