Centre Left Party wins the PT elections w/o the majority, will need a new major Left wing coalition
The centre-left Socialist party just won the elections with 36,7% of the votes, the centrist/centre right PSD with almost 28% of the votation.
The Far Left parties together make up almost 20% of the popular vote and almost 15% of the parliament seats.
For the first time we will have 9 political parties in the Portuguese parliament, one of them considered by the mainstream media as Far Right, the first far right party to gain a seat in Portugal in more than 40 years!
