Why's Portugal's public life considerably more multi-ethnic than in other Southern Euro countries?

I saw it, and you aren't swarthy, i can tell for the most part when someone is tanned or not...

For example, the Danes on the video you posted definitely looked tanned, it just the lighting on some videos that it can confuses someone.

So, let me see if I get it right ... if its a brown north european is tanned ... if its a south european its swarthy? Because as far as I could understand in that first video of Gisela João she was tanned just like the Danes and you said that she was a swarthy south european.
I'm just learning, that's why I ask.
