I've came around a video with the results of Backstreet Boys members. Interesting.

Three of them have typical NW Euro mutts results and two of them have kinda Euro-shifted Latinos results.

MyHeritage... a fun fortune telling site.
Great group!
I always perceived Brian Littrell as having ambiguos/coarse features compared to his cousin Kevin Richardson and Nick Carter, his eye shape would be associated with Amerindian heritage and the nose as SSA if he was from Latin America:

But I think this association is only common among anthrotards, I'm pretty sure average Americans perceive these coarse/ambiguos features among their basic white stock (NW Euro) as being a normal variation among them, not a sign of SSA/Amerindian admixture.
He would be classified as depigmented pardo/mestizo if he was from any Latin American country.
All of the ''full American'' Backstreet Boys are 99-100% European. A.J. McLean is 75-80% European, 10-20% Amerindian (the ''Central American'' component in MyHeritage is mestizo or triracial iirc, that's why it's difficult to guess his exact percentages), 8-15% SSA; Howie D. is 85% European, 9% SSA, 6% Amerindian.
The latter two have results more common for Latin Americans.
MyHeritage is not that bad in itself, tho general it seems to not actually pick up only "ancestors up to 6 generations ago", but rather picks up older components as well. It gave my gf 6% Finnish because of her East Asian input so it took some components with East Asian and denominated them wrongly, but K36 also gave her 6% Finnish.
For me it gave me 2.3% ME and 0.8% Central Asian with no actual Red Sea and low West Asia in the calculators, while average East Med (I differ from my gf at around 0.5% and she gets none). It clearly lacks the samples to identify old Central Asian/East Asian or even ANE ancestry in Europeans.
It's also generous with the Jewish, as any commercial test.
Yeah, I agree. They gave me 10% Middle Eastern + West Asian and I score no Red_Sea and very low West Asian in GEDmatch. Probably they just labeled some of my CHG and East_Med as ''West Asian'' and ''Middle Eastern''. It seems their results are always less European than the other tests.
I'm actually a bit north-shifted for someone of North Italian + Iberian + South Italian ancestry but I score tons of ''Iberian'' and ''Balkanic'' in their calc, very few Italian and small amounts of Baltic and Middle Eastern. But overall the results are not bad if one knows how to ''interpret'' them.
The problem with MyHeritage is that their results are not as literal as 23andme.
