Pendarovski meets with representatives of OMO “Ilinden” and citizens’ associations from Bulgaria

President Stevo Pendarovski has met with representatives of OMO “Ilinden” and representatives of several other citizens’ associations from the Republic of Bulgaria on Friday.

The representatives of the associations informed President Pendarovski about their work and activities in the field of human rights, promoting tolerance and building civil society.

Regarding the dialogue with Bulgaria, President Pendarovski assessed that a new phase is beginning, and both sides express their will for the progress of the process. President Pendarovski believes that it is important for every political institution in both countries to contribute to resolving open issues. At the meeting, President Pendarovski informed that he will soon pay an official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria, where he will have talks with President Rumen Radev.

Pendarovski stressed that the Republic of Northern Macedonia is aimed at developing good neighborly and friendly relations with the Republic of Bulgaria, in the spirit of the Friendship, Good Neighborliness and Cooperation Treaty between the two countries signed in 2017.

Стојанче право Македончиште: Треба да се бориме Македонците во Бугарија да си ги остварат своите права

Двојни стандарди на бугарската држава и влада и огромно лицемерие е фактот што тие бараат од нас Бугарите кои се многу малку во Македонија, да бидат дел од нашиот Устав, а од друга страна не ги признаваат здруженијата на граѓаните во Бугарија, кои имаат правосилни пресуди во нивна корист, вели директорот на ЦУК и претседателот на Достоинство, Стојанче Ангелов во гостувањето на емисијата „Само вистина“.

Според него, услов за внесување на Бугарија во македонскиот Устав е Софија во најмала рака да ги признае барем здруженијата на македонски граѓани.

-Македонци во Бугарија имало и ќе има. Треба да се бориме да си ги остварат нивните права, бара Ангелов и потенцира дека преговорите со нашиот источен сосед треба да продолжат и понатаму.
