It is out of context in the way, that I've actually denied that association between those two words, not confirming it. The preference of our people is in our nature, like it or not and call it what you want. Some lack it and I call that weakness. I don't engage when the two outsiders fight, nor do I engage when two people who I consider my own fight - unless they cross a certain line. That should be clear and I'm wondering why it still isn't. You're not obligated to do anything in most of the aforementioned cases, but in the remaining one - you are. You can't approach that stuff with a logic of a robot.

Russia is a mid-tier power that believes it's a superpower, hence this whole situation. There are only two superpowers, USA and China. Russia can govern itself as it sees fit but not Ukraine.
Britain and France experienced the same in 1955 when they tried to sieze Suez. Even though they were successful military they had to back down due to international pressure. Russia lost superpower status in 1991. The fact they won't even be able to eat more than a small portion of Ukraine more than proves it if proof were needed.
Again, Russia isn't a superpower. I also don't think declaring neutrality was a serious option for Ukraine, Russia never offered it a deal where it could actually run its own affairs. Remember, Ukrainian support for the West has grown because it is situated between two mid-tier powers - Russia and the EU - and on the EU border it sees rapid prosperity, whereas on the Russian one...
