I see that many persons confuse fat dinarid-meds, alpinid-meds and paleo-atlantids for berids.

Most examples, although give a Cro magnoid/Mediterranean vibe are somewhat misleading, and more robust cromagniform Mediterranean or dark Alpinoids
Berids seem to be a reduced, short, archaich looking Cro Magniform Mediterranoids. somehow stand between Mediterranoid and Alpinoid.
