Ouranos - Greek mythology

The first thing you need to learn when dealing with ancient mythologies and texts is that THERE WERE NO GODS.

The gods were invented at a very late date out of mythologies pertaining to ancient kings.

Ouranos was a historical king of Greece of the Ectene tribe, an indigenous Greek tribe. He ruled Greece in 1750 BC. The Ectenes were the earliest inhabitants of Greece (Pausanius quoting the Theban annals).

The story of Uranus castration by Kronos with a sickle has parallels in Hittite and Phoenician mythology.

This mythology originates from the expansion into Greece, Europe, Anatolia, Palestine and Northern Africa of the first Greek speaking peoples.

His adoption into IE would have to have been after 1750 BC which is when Ouranos actually reigned over Greece, Asia-Minor, Phoenicia, India as Varuna.

Αrchaeology shows that Greeks founded colonies far and wide. Only the Minoan/Mycenean Greeks were technologically, militarily and scientifically advanced to invade go as far India and succeed. They were the ONLY advanced civilization at this time. The Minoan thalassocraty controlled the seas and thus controlled trade.

As I have explained already all the so-called Indo-European gods all appeared at the same time in about 1700 BC since they were all deified kings and is stated clearly by Philo, Porphyry and Eusebius.

Aphrodite was the real daughter of Ouranos and queen of Cyprus and Kythera. Oceanus also known as Ogyges was the eldest son of Ouranos. Oceanus was the father of Inarchus and all the river Gods and represents the Achaean migration into Greece along the rivers. Oceanus c.1700 BC was the leader of the Achaeans (Ocheans) when they migrated into southern Greece. The Pelasgi were all descended from Oceanus and all Myceanean kings.

His other son Iapetus ruled over Hellas (a region in Thessaly).

According to Diodorus, Ouranos was said to have had a brother called Zeus who was king of Crete and father of the Curates. At about the time of these kings reign shaft tombs start appearing at Mycenae indicating the arrival of a foreign culture.

According to Philo and Porphyry the both the Phoenician and Greek accounts of Kronos and his battle with Uranus depicted exactly the same people and the same events. We already know from Linear A inscriptions that Kronos also known as Saturn was a Minoan king of Crete called Satur who ruled in about 1700 BC.

These events are also described in Hurrian religious texts referring to the same historical period (1700 BC) a generation before their conquest by the kings of Mittani and the Hittites, which depict the castration of Uranus by Kronos. The Hittite king Pu-Sarruma was the same person as the Mittani/Hurrian king Sarruma.

We also know that since the Hindu gods have the same names as the Greek gods, Varuna is Uranus, Brahma is Kronos and Deyus Piter is Jupiter or Deus Pateras (Zeus the Father) and recorded the great flood which also appears in the bible and depicts the Thera Eruption Mega Tsunami which caused the Ogygian Deluge that the original source for all of these religions is the Aegean civilisation referred to as the so-called Minoans. On top of this since the Hindu gods are also named in Mittani texts it is clear they were kings of Mittani. The Mittani king Shuttarna I who ruled in 1600 BC was the basis of the first Hindu king Sudymna who ruled after the flood. This occurs at the time of the so called "Aryan" invasion of the Indus Valley following the chronology of F. E. Pargiter.

Ouranos also reigned over Hurrians which is why Hurrian god Anu and the Hindu Varuna were all the same entity. The Hurrians where so called after Uranus, ie. Hourrianos who conquered them at the start of the Hyksos period and built an empire spanning from Italy to India including Babylon, Egypt and Phoenicia.

Look at that archaeology. Other than Assyro-Babylonia and Egypt then only powerful civilisation that existed in the Hyksos period that build anything in stone on a similar scale was that of the Greeks, and the Mittani who followed the Hurrians but spoke an indo-European language preserved the name of the Greek god Saturn (also preserved in Linear A) in the names of their kings and also named the Hindu gods in their inscriptions since they were their own ancestors. F E Pargiter's dating of the first Hindu kings placed the Hindu gods at the same time Greek and Phoenician and Hurrian chronology places their own gods and this is the period of the Hyksos.

The Hekadoncheries (Ekatones in Greek) were 50 man triremes. The ships were called Hekadoncheries because they required 100 hands to row them. One man, one oar, 50 men 100 hands. Similarly the word Dragon is a corruption of the Greek Trikontoron or Trireme. The Dragons wings were the oars beating on the water in unison. The sown men born from the Dragons Teeth sown by Cadmus were the sailors captured in the Trireme he sank.

Ectenes = E-ka-te-ne-(s) = Yah-qa-ta-[on]-(es)

This name makes perfect sense in Greek since it is "Ekatones" and denotes the Hekatoncheries or 100 handed ones who were the first decedents of Uranus.

Cadmus was probably an Ectene who came to Greece from Egypt after the Hyksos were expelled.

"V.[1] The first to occupy the land of Thebes are said to have been the Ectenes, whose king was Ogygus, an aboriginal. From his name is derived Ogygian, which is an epithet of Thebes used by most of the poets. The Ectenes perished, they say, by pestilence, and after them there settled in the land the Hyantes and the Aones, who I think were Boeotian tribes and not
foreigners. "

The "Aones" are clearly the Ionians since Boeotia was once called Ionia before the Achaeans drove out the Ionians. The word "Aones" is the root of the word "Aeones" ie. "The Imortals" and this is where the myth about the Gods derives.

The "Hyantes" were also known as the "Giants". Giants being Greek for sons of the Earth/Gia, or indigenous people.
Its most likey that the Hyantes were the decedents of Ogygus.
