Everyone can become the best in any subject if he is pushed to do so in early age.

László Polgár claimed that every child could be genius in any subject if it was taught from the early ages. As a prove he started to train chess his small daughters, when they were only 3 years old. His youngest daughter became world champion. His older daughter was 2nd best chess player and the middle daughter was 6th best in the female chess ranking.

I would agree, humans are creatures of conditioning. Given the person has normal mental health and stamina, anyone can be good at anything. Does that mean they will be happy or normal? No.

My gut feeling is that intelligence runs in the Polgar family.

I am certain, however, that exposure to stimuli enlivens the human brain.

Yeah, especially if you teach something kids from early ages, they learn so much faster. For example learning languages as a kid, is so much faster, he has it's point. How is life in NZ my friend.

I agree, but not 100%. It was always believed that the best specialists in any skill are hereditary. But sometimes nature likes to relax on the children of talented parents.
Everyone is capable of doing something better than the rest. The main problem is to find out what exactly, and early enough.
