All wrong in this thread.
The people you refer to were perfectly Caucasoid. They had extremely narrow, teaddrop-shaped nasal openings, prominent nasal sills, bird-like horizontally protrusive noses, fully Eurodont dental morphology, etc. Unlike Australoids and Negroids, they also had brains that were larger than most living people.
True most of them were square-faced, but so were most of the R1 Indo-Europeans, and countless other populations.
Anyway we don't need to guess which modern people resemble Cro Magnins because they left behind plenty of depictions of themselves

Neither C nor I1 have been found in any early Upper Paleolithic skeleton. The actual Cro Magnons themselves could have been R1 for all we know. C and I1 and I2 are something that came later on after 20,000 years ago, they're really only associated with a few select finds from the period 15-20,000 YBP, even R1 was already in Europe by that time, anything before that is pure speculation. The ancestor of R (haplogroup K) is the oldest known haplogroup in Upper Paleolitic Europe (Oase 1).
