I met a Sudanese Armenian, last Sunday, at Church. We talked about Coptic Christians. He kind of bears the likeness of an Egyptian Pharaoh. As for his height, he's a short thin guy.

The Arabs in Sudan are about 40-45% black and 55-60% West Eurasian.
Sudan and S. Sudan is rarely if ever covered in the US media. The terrorist attack in Burkina Faso last month barely got covered. Stuff like that makes digital/print but is absent from TV. Same for Nigeria, or Senegal etc. If an Embasy and police HQ got attacked, with 30 dead and 85 wounded anywhere in Europe it would lead TV news for a week.
There's a difference between purely sub-Saharan southern Sudanese and the northern, linguistically Arab ones, which are a transitionary people to Egypt and the Middle East
Actor Alexander Siddig is half Sudanese Arab and half British.

I don't get a Horner vibe from them much. They may have roughly similar amounts of Caucasoid overall but it seems to come from different sources. Sudanese Arabs seem more like an actual more recent (last 1-1.2k years) mix of SSA and something Arab or North African/Egyptian (which correlates well with their history/identity), and have less sharp or defined features, but often lighter pigmentation (I think some can come closer to passing as African American for example). Though many of the women have unique thick eyebrows too, from some international students I met; some were quite pretty. Horners seem to be a more "stabilized" and very ancient type with proto-Caucasoid influences, and can also have many hot women.
Interesting place on phenotype. It seems that is the natural meet of North Africa and subsaharian africa
Very interesting place, historically the Nubians are a very overlooked people. There’s not much western coverage of there either. Doesn’t get covered much especially since there was basically a genocide in Darfur against the Nilotic people who live there.
