They didn't only mix with Europeans. A lot of their non-South Asian ancestry is actually from what is now Turkey and Iran. It's why they don't look more European. Regardless, even if they were 70-80% Balkan, they would still look "off" because of their SA ancestry, just not to the extent they do now.Quote:
