Classify Miss Australia 2019 of Indian descent

Looks heavily paleomongoloid.

Looks very South East Asian.
Is she 100% South Indian?
The surname alone, suggests some Hispanic mix.

I don't know but yeah she looks part South East Asian and European mixed to me. All Catholic Indians have surnames like that, it doesn't mean much, her parents look more typical.

Paleo Mongoloid + Gracile Indid

She’s from konkan region with a portuguese surname. She might have some mix, but not recent. Probably similar to freida pinto. Freida also has paleo mong in her lol.

Ah, thanks. Hadn't considered the Catholic European input of that region.

Yep, that makes a lot of sense.
I thought the mongoloid mix only occurred in the North East. Didn't realise it was present in the South too?

mongoloid appears in varying frequency throughout india actually, not just south. It shows up in north too. I saw many with paleo mong like influence in UP, delhi when i visited recently
