In your country, what are the equivalents to Civil Court, Magistrates' Court and Crown Court?

In the UK:

- Civil Court is for, well, civil cases.
- Magistrates' Court is for relatively minor criminal cases.
- Crown Court is for major criminal cases.

High Court (national) > Supreme Court (state) > County Court > Magistrates Court

We don't have such system. Only municipal, county and supreme court. Each of these does both civil and criminal cases. There's also constitutional court as separate body.

Courts for civil cases in India , in descending order of hierarchy :

Supreme Court
High Court
Court of District Judge / Additional District Judge
Court of Civil Judge Junior / Senior Division ( / in respect of matrimonial disputes , Principal Judge / Additional Principal Judge)
Court of Small Causes


Courts for criminal cases in India , in descending order of hierarchy :

Supreme Court
High Court
Court of Session Judge / Additional Session Judge
Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate / Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate
Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class


Supreme Court & High Court are court of appeals wrt civil & criminal cases and so , cannot hold their trial generally . However in exceptional circumstances only , High Court has the power to recall civil & criminal cases from lower courts & try itself .

In my country it usually starts with the goombas, then koopas, and eventually makes it to bowser (in really serious cases).
