Why are people from Balkan so overrepresented on this forum?

My great grandpa came from Serbia to fight for Ottoman Empire in 1915 and his son (my grandpa) as a teacher went voluntarily to Southeastern border of Turkey and met with my grandma there. So my Balkan mixture was deteriorated due to her Turkish, Arab, Assyrian or Kurdish roots. She was ok for that area but my grandpa was very handsome and it was a pity she affected phenotypes of all grandchildren.
