Yes, that is likely the case. I asked around, and it turns out there has been a migration from Lachin to Agjabadi. For example, the population of Taxtakörpü willage is from Lachin (which had a large...
Something is off here. For example this sample seems to be straight up some kind of Iranic.

I think these results are from an academic study that has already been posted here. Dagestani numbers went into updating Dagestani Azeri average.
As for proximity, it is not surprising. Tats live in...
That is no surprising though. For example, Azerbaijan is extremely heterogeneous, but in order to create this type of charts everyone is grouped into couple of averages. If we were to break it down...
In Azerbaijani the Tats are also referred to as dağlı which translates as mountain people. This results from Absheron leads me to believe that the Tats moved from mountains in the North East of...
Sorry, I somehow missed it.

Yes, you are mistaking them. Iranian Tats aren't the same as the Caucasian ones. Even their languages belong to different branches.
I think we should stop this shit show. This is no place to argue who's city it is.
Few ydna evidence I'm aware doesn't support the fact that the Tats are assimilated Talysh. All paternal linages belonged to the local, caucasian branches unlike the Talysh.
Their language is not...
Yep, the only thing that stands out is high South Asia, other than that I couldn't tell this apart from a normal Az result from the North.
Funny how a person who scores a 1/3 of my CHG ends ups...
Yeah, looking at this I can only assume that his high Anatolia came from his Turkic side, which is the dominant one in terms of makeup (no idea how people score in Isfahan though).
I remember that...
Not surprising if his Turkic side came from Anatolia. After all, that is not unheard of. At least in the case of Azerbaijan (the republic) there have been migrations from Anatolia. I assume that is...
Great result! She is pure Black Sea native. Next to no steppe.
I assume this is a legit G25. Can you pls post the percentage breakdown?
This is highly unusual. First time seeing such a high Caucasus percentage in Kurds. Almost thought you were Udi :) They tend to have higher Atlantic_Med and lower SW Asia though.
Are or were there...
The East Asian part goes without saying, although I see that some Iranics have a noticeable amount too.
I think Tat_Azerbaijan shouldn't be in the main list. First, it is just one person, second not Iranian. Being an Iranic language is not that relevant, afterall so is Ossetian. Probably more...
Oh I'm not at all surprised by the CHG scores. Even on K12b the eastern par of Caucasus scores significantly less Caucasus component than the western.
I'm more surprised by the fact that our...
Thanks a lot!
Here is my and my dad's simulated G25 through the website you gave (is this similar to the real G25?):
Target: Steling_Archer
Distance: 2.5569% / 0.02556938...
How do you simulate this? I can't find this option on the website.
Here is an Udi (from Azerbaijan) result. I think this has been posted before:

As for the Azerbaijanis, this forum is chock full of them:) mainly thanks to Kyp,...
Azerbaijani who's maternal grandmother is Kazan Tatar. I don't know much about Kazan Tatars, but some people say that Tatar side might be mixed with Russian due to relatively low mongoloid.
