Cro-Magnid mixed with Aryan (evident in profile). Looks like a Scandinavian "nordic"
That's normal French version of "dark", but still light for the southern europeans...
She looks generic pretty (Alpinid) European. Passes here as well...
Girl/Woman at 2:06 looks totally European (very Slavic) while woman at 1:49 is very beautiful (mainly Pamirid). Both are the exception to the rule: most look at least 50% Asian (take for example...
Very pure paleo-European ("CM") look. It is almost impossible to find Europeans that are as pure as this woman is today, but their influences were profound (hence the Baltids, the Brunns, and so on)....
One thing obvious is the insane mongoloid influence in Tajikistan. I fail to see any difference from Uzbeks, except one in language.
I think that's the recipe to brew Romanians, in general
Indid-Arabid mix... He must be very atypical there with that look
Very Iranid with some that have Corded influences. As expected...
She passes as Russian or even Ukrainian quite easily. Doesn't pass as Hungarian, interestingly...

Even though you can find faces like her in Romania quite easily, I've never seen anyone looking like me. I'm very mixed, but there is a foreign element in me that is sometimes dominant and that...
Central-Northern Transylvania
Not lighter by any means compared to those in Southern Romania, just with a lot more Alpinids.

Maramures Region
This is a fringe region that has very peculiar phenotypes, most people being unmixed Alpinids with occasional Slavic and Pontid influences.

Crisana Region
Interesting that there are no geographic barriers between Arad and Bihor counties, but phenotypes become drastically lighter and more Slavic in Bihor county then return back to...
They aren't that similar. In Slovaks there is a greater Baltic/EastNordid shift whan in Hungarians:

There was very little admixture with Germans. Banat and Oltenia are the darkest, followed by Muntenia... The lightest are people in Crisana region near Hungary and even more so northern/eastern...
Do you find these similar to Serbs or Hungarians?
They can pass in Russia, even Belarus (a few in another post had that look), but that doesn't change the oddity. I think they look like NW Caucasians (Circassians, Abkhaz)...
Banat Region
Here Romanians are at their darkest, approaching North Italian average. Slavic influence exists in some individuals (20-30%), but most don't exhibit any... Interesting that they are...
This will be a scientific study for the anthropology of Romanians, based on photos of late high schoolers in each geographic region. I always use them for classification because their features are...
Too european to be a gypsy. Indian side is invisible
