Surname is typical Russian tho. There was always significant Russian urban minority in Lvov in last 100 years, so I think ethnically he's Russian no matter what he declares himself personally.

I think those Slavs were culturally influenced by neighboring nations in different measures, indeed some were under Greek/Bulgarian/Serbian superior influence historically.

They are very different with Bulgarians by mentality and traditions. But, original Macedonian culture of the region is more plebeian, Bulgarian higher culture dominated there, all the saints, Fathers...

People can't realize that not everyone works five days a week and to 5-6 pm. I'm not hanging a lot in this forum, but most of the days I'm free from job at 2-3 pm.
