It all depends, what someone means by "white" Caucasian might fit in a better sense. But darker, then a Saxon.

I mean european white, white berbers were part of the Roman and Byzantine empire, they fought against the islamification and arabization of North Africa. Arabs won but I do admire how berber communities are still alive to this day who have no SSA and almost no J1 influence. Not this berber: Attachment 39658Attachment 39659
