Our vowels can be open or not. Foreigners can only pronounce open vowels. It's their problem.

I love "dark" vowels. Specially in poetry and songs. They give Portuguese and Catalan a way of playing with the rhythm and music that just can't be heard in others like Italian or Spanish.

It's very far away from my own castillian accent, but I like really a lot this variant of andalucian accent, you can't hear a single 's' sound in this video , they turn them into 'z' (th) or mute sound.

and the harsh spanish 'j' is turned into 'h', and many more things that make this accent very pleasant and funny to my ears.
