Weirdly enough.. I feel its incredibly easy to talk to people whose mother tongue is English. Especially the guys.

I dont know. I ALWAYS have something to talk about with them, its just so easy! And its not the same with people who can also speak English well... Ive found that its incredibly easy to connect with people who speak English as a mother tongue. But the truth is that I might actually be using more English than Estonian in my own life (Internet/tv/music/foreign friends/travelling/studies/sometimes even work/ love life).

maybe it's just culture, with native English speakers you can talk about any subject, even with random strangers on the street. in Lithuania(and presumably Estonia) people would think you're a drunk or insane.

Austria on 6th position is rather surprising, because not many people here are able to speak fluent English.

Estonians 4th best in the world in English as a second language after Sweden, Norway and Netherlands.

The Swedes, Norwegians and Dutch are cheating. All of them speak Germanic languages after all. The Estonians are trying harder than they do!

That's true. Estonian isn't even an Indo-European language.

And that is why I chose an additional comparison with the Finnish language - because finnish is to estonian what english is to germanic scandinavian and to dutch.
