    Kalu means almost literally a tool, but that word isn't used very commonly. If you want to call someone a cock, you can't call them kalu, but you have to say kyrpä.

    Interesting that Lithuanians call it pipele, because in Finnish language the word pippeli is also used. It's kind of childish word and used when children are present. Little boys have pippeli, but men have kulli.

    I'm not sure if this is accurate, but apparently the word "caralho" refers to the little basket on top of old ships. It was a very unstable place where no one wanted to be. The popular expression "vai para o caralho" ("go to caralho" - fuck off) means this exactly.

    Polla is not Catalan for cock. It may be used now by young Catalans in Barcelona because of Spanish influence, which is strong regarding slang words, but it's not accepted by official dictionaries and there are many other genuine words for that.

    The equivalent for a young hen which also means penis in Catalan is tita or titola, although the word is a bit childish.

    Genuine ones used that come to my mind now are:
    (Using animals too)
    Cigala = cicada (or broad lobster too)
    Pardal = sparrow (or bird in general)
    Cuca = bug

    (Food)
    botifarra = Catalan sausage
    llonganissa = another type of sausage
    melindro = ladyfinger

    And many more, mostly figurated uses.

    The two which we really share with other Iberians since forever are carall and pixa.

    "Pirola" word for cock in Galician, and in this video from 80's Galician punk rock band, Siniestro Totals song "Ayatolah, no me toques a pirola" English translation "Ayatolah, don't touch my cock" the word is magnificently illustrated......

    Enjoy.

    "Rich Gallaecia sent its youths, wise in the knowledge of divination by the entrails of beasts, by feathers and flames, now howling barbarian songs in the tongues of their homelands, now alternately stamping the ground in their rhythmic dances until the ground rang, and accompanying the playing with sonorous bagpipes".....Silius Italicus, Punica
